This past Saturday Jason and I had the day off. This never happens because I almost always work on Saturday. So we wanted to do something fun, Jason suggested that we drive the Apache Trail. I wasn't quite sure what that would involve but I was game for anything, I just wanted to get out of the house. So we hit the open road and headed toward the Superstition mountains. Oh my gosh, I had no idea it would be that gorgeous! I definitely recommend you all go. We even stopped by this little ghost town that was pretty interesting.

This is the first thing you will see when you go into their restaurant, old cowboy boots hanging from the ceiling, it was hilarious!
Then we got back in our car and this was pretty much me for the rest of the trip, documenting all the beautiful scenery.

Nice! I have been to that ghost town 3 times, I remember thinking it was pretty neat the first time. Glad you were able to get out and do something! AZ does have some beautiful scenery, you just have to get out sometimes to see it and appreciate it.

Fun. AZ really is so pretty. When I tell people that I'm from there and they have been there they either tell a story about how hot it was there or about how beautiful it is. It is fun to look at AZ from the outside looking in sometimes. I really appreciate that lovely state.
